Vision and Mission

Vision: To develop the relationship between the workers and the employer and to ensure the rights of the workers.

Mission: To maintain peaceful industrial relations in industrial establishments and increase productivity through creation of skilled manpower.

Functions

1. Creating trained manpower and creating employment opportunities through labor administration and training;

2. Trade union registration, industrial and labor dispute settlement;

3. Application of labor laws and labor rules;

4. Working with other international organizations, including the ILO, on skilled labor manpower management; And

5. Workers' education, welfare and social security provisions

6. Introducing e-governance.
